2) Grading Terms:
World Gemmological Laboratory reports are supplied at the request of the customer and all reports are for customer's exclusive use. Reports express an opinion at the time of the examination of the jewelry, diamonds, and gemstones. The report is for the customers use only for the purpose of indicating estimated retail replacement value to obtain insurance coverage. World Gemmological Laboratory does not guarantee or certify that the valuation will result in a sale at that price. Estimated retail replacement value is arrived at post-analysis of the approximate high retail cash asking price is for labor, materials, and design. These prices may be substantially higher then actual transaction prices. World Gemmological Laboratory appraisal value is based on current information, and does not contain any information regarding future or past value. World Gemmological Laboratory has made no representation or warranty with regards to any item described in the reports, since jewelry grading is not an exact science, this report represents the best opinion of World Gemmological Laboratory. World Gemmological Laboratory is in no case responsible for differences that occur by repeated grading by other experts in the field and/or use of other standards, norms, methods or criteria other than those used by World Gemmological Laboratory. World Gemmological Laboratory is expressly held harmless by customers including, but with out limitation for any claims or actions that may arise out of negligence in connection with the preparation of this report, or actions based upon the customer's use of the report. Do to the fact that a majority of gemstones in the market today pass through color and clarity improvement processes World Gemmological Laboratory will only disclose when a gemstone has been through a improvement process if that process is not permanent or if by re-cutting it may alter the stone color thus altering its value such as heating, diffusion, bulk diffusion and others. The information on the carat weight, clarity grade, color grade on this report is approximate due to the limitations in Jewelry grading. The item was tested, graded, and examined under 10X magnification using the techniques and equipment available to World Gemmological Laboratory, including fully corrected triplet loupe, Diamond color comparison tools, electronic carat balance, non-contact optical measuring device, and ancillary instruments necessary at the time of examination. All grades are approximate and not certified as correct by any other standard than that used by World Gemmological Laboratory. World Gemmological Laboratory grading standards vary from industry standards, and may not be compared to others in the jewelry industry.

3) Placing Your Order:
Sales order may be placed by the customer or by our staff when the items arrive at our office in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Please email your order and ship goods to our appraisal office by either Federal Express or EMS express mail service.

5) Customer Preparation for Shipping:
Customer must include an Inventory list inside the box of the items being sent. Instructions in how much customer wishes the Laboratory to insurance the item for on return, and if customer would like 1 day or 2 day Fedex Service. Matching sets of loose Diamonds should be already matched in individual papers. Improperly packaged merchandise or shipments not including proper instructions will be returned at customers expense.

6) Intake Procedure:
Packages received by the World Gemmological Laboratory are reviewed by our receiving department and by the grader assigned to the order for accuracy, and if a discrepancy exists like empty boxes or Diamond papers, and/or does not match the sales order placed by the customer or the inventory list included with the shipment, the sales order will be updated by the World Gemmological Laboratory to reflect the correct inventory, then reported to the owner before we proceed with grading. World Gemmological Laboratory is not responsible for senders lost items during shipment, missing items, or empty boxes due to fraud.

   

7) Additional Charges on Shipping, Insurance and Wire transfers:
Charges incurred by the World Gemological Laboratory for shipping items back are charged to customer at cost plus 50% based on Fedex 1 day or 2 day service, and 0.35 cents per $100.00 of insurance. World Gemmological Laboratory is not responsible, nor does cover shipment's that are lost do to customer having a "No signature required - release waiver on file with Fedex on arrival to customers location".

  

8) Payment terms:
Payments are due on COD terms by cashiers check, money order, credit card or by a regular check on special approval by the World Gemmological Laboratory. Work is considered complete and due when invoice is issued.

  

9) Customer Disputes:
From time to time a customer will have a difference of opinion on a particular grade. World Gemmological Laboratory welcome disputes but reserves the right to un-mount stones for review or refund the customer in exchange for the original report. No disputes may be requested with out the original item present. World Gemmological Laboratory has generally not changed grades after the report is issued. World Gemmological Laboratory grades per its standards and will generally not make adjustments due to customers desired valuation.

  

10) Charges for Disputes:
Disputes are charged for single uses at 75% of the original report price if no changes are made to the report, and for volume users at no charge.

  

11) 72 Hour Turnaround Grading Service Guarantee or its Free:
World Gemmological Laboratory will not charge customer's for services when it fails to complete the Grading service with in 72 hours, excluding weekends, and holidays.

  

12) World Gemmological Laboratory hyperlink agreement:
Many business associates have requested to be able to link their Web sites to ours through the use of our logo. In order to guarantee consistent and proper usage of links to the World Gemmological Laboratory site, we're pleased to offer you links and logos as a convenient, way to display a link to World Gemmological Laboratory.

You may provide a link to this Web site to www.worldgemlab.com, provided you agree to the Link conditions described below. By establishing a link to a World Gemmological Laboratory Web site you agree to these link conditions.

a)	That the link solely consists of the " World Gemmological Laboratory.
b)	That you will update all images and text within seven days after receipt of notice of any changes from World Gemmological Laboratory that may modify images and text at any time;

e)	That you will not use the link or link button to disparage World Gemmological Laboratory and its services;
f)	That the appearance, position and other aspects of the link button may not be such as to misrepresent your relationship with World Gemmological Laboratory, or present false or misleading impressions about World Gemmological Laboratory or its services;
g)	That the appearance, position and other aspects of the link button may not create the false appearance that you or any non- World Gemmological Laboratory entity or any non- World Gemmological Laboratory product or service is associated with, or endorsed, or sponsored by World Gemmological Laboratory;

You agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or any content posted to the World Gemmological Laboratory Web site including copies and republication thereof, whether based in contract, tort, statutory or other law, will be governed by the laws of the Country of Sri Lanka, excluding its conflicts of law provisions. You further consent to the personal jurisdiction of and exclusive venue in the national courts located in and serving Colombo, Sri Lanka as the legal forum for any such dispute.

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold World Gemmological Laboratory, its trustees, officers, employees and agents from and against any claims, demands, damages, causes of action, loss or judgments arising from your breach of this Agreement or your hyperlink to World Gemmological Laboratory Web site.

YOU EXPRESSLY AGREE THAT THE USE OF THE WORLD GEMMOLOGICAL LABORATORY MATERIALS, MARKS, LINK BUTTON AND WEB SITE IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK WORLD GEMMOLOGICAL LABORATORY DOES NOT WARRANT THAT ITS SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR FREE, WORLD GEMMOLOGICAL LABORATORY PROVIDES THIS ACCESS "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WORLD GEMMOLOGICAL LABORATORY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, IMPLIED WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND WARRANTY OF NONINFRINGEMENT. IN NO EVENT WILL WORLD GEMMOLOGICAL LABORATORY BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, LOSS OF PROFIT, LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF BUSINESS OR OTHER LOSS ARISING OUT OF OR RESULTING FROM THIS AGREEMENT OR THE USE OF ANY OF THE MATERIALS, MARKS OR LINK BUTTON UNDER THIS AGREEMENT OR ACCESS TO ANY OF THE SERVICES DESCRIBED IN THIS AGREEMENT EVEN IF WORLD GEMMOLOGICAL LABORATORY HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. THE FOREGOING SHALL APPLY REGARDLESS OF THE NEGLIGENCE OF WORLD GEMMOLOGICAL LABORATORY AND REGARDLESS OF WHETHER SUCH LIABILITY IS FOUND IN CONTRACTS, NEGLIGENCE.
